Orlando, FL – The nation’s Healthcare Information and Management professionals spent 4 days at the Orange County Convention Center meeting IT leaders to view the latest computing solutions. Estone took the opportunity to attend and share how embedded computing and custom tablet computers can serve their needs. From February 19th through the 23rd, Estone Tech met with individuals and groups from all over Florida to discuss their needs and demonstrate the power of modern rugged tablet pcs for healthcare and pharmacy use.
This year’s event was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The large venue provided access for more than 40,000 Health IT Professionals, Clinicians, Healthcare Executives, and vendors from more than 1,200 companies. Focus topics this year included Alternative Payment Models, Connected Health Experience, Healthcare Cybersecurity, Interoperability, and more. The Orange County Convention Center offers seven million combined square feet of meeting and public space for events of all types, and an event as large as the HIMSS Conference needs the space.
Estone Tech spent time highlighting the medically certified MA-150 Healthcare Tablet and other similar products. The MA tablets are designed with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and those with healthcare special needs in mind. The robust tablets display bright, clear information about patient records and medical imaging, and can be mounted to medical carts or wheelchair mounts. Estone Tech tablets can also be equipped with barcode readers and other tools for monitoring and dispensing medications, tracking patient records, and more.
Estone also took the opportunity to ask questions of attendees and determine what they’re most interested in and in need of in their own hospitals and practices.
